The modular solution is based on enclosing pipes and cables on-site. Instead of a traditional pipe renovation and the demolition work it involves, completely new pipes can be installed that run through neat modules in the stairwell and apartment. In the stairwell, the pipes can be routed between handrails or through floor landings on the stairwell wall. The old pipes are left in place and no structures are demolished.

Openable modules enable easy maintenance and upkeep of pipes and cables after installation. Leaks and faults are easy to locate and pipes and cables can be added or removed as needed. The Pipemodul module system includes a leak detector to be installed on each floor, as required by the Ministry of the Environment decree on water and drainage systems in buildings. Even the smallest leak will not go unnoticed.
Efficient implementation
Factory-made modules are delivered to the site ready customised. The modules come with the necessary insulation and brackets pre-fitted, as well as a durable and even paint finish guaranteed by the factory coating. The space requirement of the enclosures is small and the installation work on site is easy, fast and clean. The enclosures are fitted in place, the pipes and cables are installed inside and the whole unit is closed with the cover section. The renovation can be carried out with a small workforce.
Significant cost savings
The method generates savings through the reduced need for labour, the fast completion time of the renovation and the elimination of costs arising from demolition of structures. When structures are not demolished, savings are made in demolition, waste, cleaning and reconstruction costs.
