Valves and water meters housed in the module are enclosed in separate openable enclosures. Steel and MDF module valve and water meter enclosures can be manufactured to the dimensions of each site. EI30 fire-protected hatches use a three-point locking mechanism, while hatches in non-fire-protected modules are available as non-locking hatches. Openable hatches can also be used for separately ordered horizontal modules. This allows the water meter enclosure and horizontal module to be aligned at the same level.
